About the Author

Known affectionately as ‘Pastor Becky,’ Rev. Dr. Rebecca Collison brings decades of experience in education, ministry, and pastoral leadership to her writing.

Before entering pastoral ministry, she served for ten years as a middle and high school special education teacher. She was called into ministry in 2004, earned her Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2008, was ordained as an elder in 2011, and completed her Doctor of Ministry degree in 2019.

Collison has served churches across Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware and currently serves within the Global Methodist Church. She is also the author of Preparing Fields for Seasons of Change.
